It can often be a helpful feature to password protect certain areas of your website, so that only authorized personnel can gain access to information published at those locations. A user name and password will then be required to access the confidential information.

Taylor Applications, LLC can establish password-protected gateways to private sections of your website. This is a great tool for creating intranets, special member or staff areas, and limiting access to private information.

How it works . . .

Taylor Applications, LLC will password-protect webpages [in any directory] that you designate. You will then need to supply the userid and password to those whom you want to have access to the password-protected directory. Users visit your website but are prompted with a small login screen [like the one below] when trying to access any password-protected gateways. Once the user enters the correct user name and password and clicks "OK" access is gained.
