NOTE: Some weight classes are nearing capacity, which will lead to closing registration and the
initiation of waiting lists in those groups. If you have already registered, a reminder: There will
be no refunds issued after June 1, 2009.

2008 SEASON OF SUCCESS
Congratulations to all PAL Junior Ravens football and cheerleading squads participating in our second
year of SJIYFA football, and to our Rookie League teams, on another great season of fun and exciting youth
football!
SOME HIGHLIGHTS:
The Junior High / Unlimited team qualified for the SJIYFA playoffs for the second consecutive year and won
the first Varsity-level playoff game in program history.
The 90’s Varsity became the first Varsity team to finish the regular season with a winning record
(5-3; tied for second place in the NFC South Division); they also qualified for the playoffs for the
first time.
The 90’s Junior Varsity finished 7-3 – the first winning record for any JV team in program history and
best of all Junior Ravens teams this season – won a playoff game in the JV Tournament and advanced to
the semifinals.
