Q. What is domain name "masking"?

A. What masking does is show your domain name instead of the our website's address and directory.

Q. Are there disadvantages to domain name "masking"?

A. Yes. if the visitor 'refreshes' a web page, other than the main page, he/she will always be taken back to your 'home page'. Another disadvantage is that if the visitor saves the website in his/her favorites file, the original web page will be saved, not the masked web address.

Q. How will I make changes to my website once it's up and running?

A. You simply login to your account at www.domainname.com/vdeck and enter your user id and password. Then, follow our simple tutorial to updates the pages you want.

Q. Can you design a logo for my website?

A. Yes. But you'll need to keep in mind that we are website designers, NOT graphic designers. If you want a top-quality high-resolution logo, have it designed by a graphic artist. If you or your graphic designer provide us your logo, we will then be able to use it on your website.

Q. Will I be able to maintain my website myself without knowledge of website design?

A. Sure. We design the site; you just update the text using our
simple tutorial and your website's online Control Panel.

Q. Will I be able to add photos and graphics to my website myself?

A. Only if you can figure it out yourself using the control panel. Otherwise, we suggest you hire us on an hourly basis for assistance.

Q. Do you build e-mail databases and do mass e-mailings?

A. No.

Q. Can you place a form on my page so that visitors can fill it out and submit it to me?

A. Not any more. Form mail, as this is known, is now blocked by many Internet Service Providers due to spam issues. We suggest a traditional e-mail link.

Q. Will pop-up ads or banner ads be placed on my site?

A. Absolutely not. Annoying ads and pop-ups never will appear on your site. You can, however, have your own pop-ups, banners, and advertisements on your website if you so choose. Having sponsors or advertisers is a great way to defer the cost of your website costs.

Q. Will my website be up 24/7/365?

A. Yes. Our third-party servers are always up, connected and monitored so your site is always up and running.

Q. Suppose my website needs a change over time as my business grows. Can I add pages to my exisiting website?

Q. Do I have to sign a contract to use your service?

A. No. Contracts are available, however, for those who wish to have a binding agreement in writing.

Q. How much will all this cost me?

A. As with any service, costs vary depending on requirement. Web design and print are no different. We appreciate that this is often the first question people want answered and as such we offer an initial free consultation in which we ask a set of questions to start understanding the implications of our potential clients' requirements.

Q. How long will it take to get my website up and running?

A. In most cases, 5-7 days is all it will take.

Q. How do I pay my bill?

A. We will mail you and invoice when it is time to pay for or renew your services. You will hae apppromimately two weeks to mail us a personal checks or money order.

Q. Can I pay my bill online?

A. Sure. But we first have to create an online invoice for you so let us know if you want to pay this way. We accept PayPal, Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover Card.

Q. What happens if my invoice is not paid on time?

A. We cut off your air supply! Not really; we simply cancel your account and wish you well in your future endeavors.
