Andy Doyle was born in Glasgow, Scotland and was a long time Hamilton area resident. He retired after 25 years of service from the Township of Hamilton Department of Water Pollution Control. He had also been employed as a bartender at the former Old Heidelberg restaurant in Hamilton.

At the time of his death, Andy was the President of the Celtic Supporter's Club, Trenton Chapter. He was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Cook AA, the Scottish American Club. He was also a former member of the Hamilton Elks #2262

Andy had served in the British Army for four years. He was an avid fan of the Glasgow Celtic Football Team and had played professional soccer in England and the United States. He was inducted into the Mercer County Soccer Hall of Fame and had coached various soccer teams in Mercer County. He was also the former coach of the Shamrock's Soccer Club, which made it all the way to the National Finals in Houston.

Andy and his wife, Sheila, were married 49 years and had three children; Andrew, John, and Susan. Andy was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing darts and spending time with his five grandchildren.

Andy passed away in August, 2007.
